Instructions for using Picasa
Once Picasa has opened, a list of available albums
will be displayed.
Click on
the image of one of the albums (e.g. Club House) to display its contents.
This will display of all the images in that album
You may then view
large images singly by clicking on each thumbnail image separately or use the
inbuilt slideshow option.
To review all albums, click on the 'My Photos' link just under the Picasa
symbol. The slide control controls the size of the thumbnails for viewing
If slideshow is chosen then large images will display for 3 secs
The
time can be varied by clicking the + or - icon either side of the seconds.
The 'F11' button on your computer will act as a toggle switch to allow the
images to be displayed full screen. Press again and its reduced to normal
size. The images can be stopped, manually moved or restarted as a
slideshow with the arrow and bar controls on the left. The control area
will fade out after a few seconds. Moving the mouse over the image will
restore it.
Videos are viewed in the same way. These files are quite large and require a good broadband connection to display without repeatedly stopping to buffer the next section on your computer. If this is the case
