In a previous life t aught
Science and Computer studies. He designed, constructed and launched the Club’s
web site which has proved very popular with members and visitors to
the site. Ben’s other hobby passion is sailing either his trailer sailor in the
Friday night twilight races at Goolwa or constructing model RC racing yachts and
competing with them. Ben pilots Electric model aircraft.

SCMAC
Executive Terms of Office and Functions
All
Official positions become vacant at 30th June each year. The Annual
General Meeting however is called for the last Monday of June followed by the
first Ordinary meeting of the newly elected executive. Thence all Ordinary
Meetings are bi-monthly unless matters arise for earlier meeting(s).
Delegated
positions exist within the Club to address issues of importance. One of these is
a field acquisition committee. There is a need to develop and implement ideas,
how to obtain a permanent field, preferably of Government (State or Federal)
gazette land vested in Local Government or Local Utility.
Implemented
in August 2005 was the introduction
of a Monthly Club Newsletter titled The Idle Times. It is written to provide
practical information and Club banter. Copies of these issues,
